A Place to Belong, Learn, Grow, and Know Jesus

”Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6

As you look at these photographs from LIGHT Home, you see more than smiling faces. You see children who are growing, learning, making friends, discovering their gifts, and building a future filled with hope.

For many of our children, LIGHT Home is more than a place to live – it is home. It is a place where they are cared for, encouraged, educated, and surrounded by people who love them.

Daily Care and Provision

The photographs also show the simple but important things of everyday life—children enjoying meals together, studying in classrooms, resting in their rooms, playing with friends, and sharing joyful moments.

Providing nutritious food, clothing, education, accommodation, healthcare, and a safe environment is an important part of our responsibility. We are thankful to God for providing through the generous people who stand with LIGHT Home.

Jesus at the Heart of LIGHT Home

Above everything else, our greatest desire is that these children would know Jesus personally.

We believe that physical needs are important, but our highest calling is to help children discover the love of Christ and learn to trust Him. Through prayer, devotion, worship, and teaching God’s Word, we encourage them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

It is especially encouraging to see older children praying, leading devotions, and encouraging younger children. We pray that they will become the next generation who will carry the Gospel forward.

Growing Through Education

Education is a major part of life at LIGHT Home. Every day, our children attend school, study their lessons, complete their assignments, and work toward their dreams. We want to give them more than academic knowledge. We want them to develop confidence, discipline, character, and a vision for their future.

We pray that these children will one day become teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers, pastors, leaders, and responsible citizens who will make a difference in their communities.

For 20 years, God has given us the privilege of caring for hundreds of children. We could not do this without your prayers, love, and support.

Every meal provided, every school lesson learned, every safe night of sleep, and every opportunity given to a child is part of your investment in their lives.
